Make sure that your topic has a good title. You should be able to guess the contents of the post, only by looking at the title.
Wrong: HELP!!!!!! -_-
Correct: Unhandled exception error from AutoNM
Be sure to put topics at the right place. For example, do not put a topic about the weather in the Prg - Visual Basic board.
Do not take over other people's threads. If you want to talk about something not appropriate for that thread, make your own. In other words - don't go too off-topic in other people's threads.
There is no need to spam. This includes, but is not limited to:
· Double-posting (posting again in the same thread if noone else has posted in-between)
· Typing nonsense or clearly unneccessary text.
Note that double-posting is legal if 7 days have passed since the previous post.
Do not quote an entire message if it's directly above you or the first post in the topic. However, quotes may be used if you want to comment off-topic posts, or if you only quote part of any message.
Signatures are great, but don't overdo it. The total height of the signature can't exceed 140px (that's one picture at 120px or less, along with a line of text). Also, any advertisement in form of banners is prohibited.
If you see someone breaking a rule, just ignore it. I'm sure a real mod will straighten things out.
This is a community, and as such, decieving acts are frowned upon at best.
Let's try to keep it clean. If you want things for free, try other forums.
Posting referral codes (or encouraging to enter a referral code somewhere) is illegal. This also includes all forms of pyramid systems.
If you break rule(s) 1, you will receive a warning. Also, your topic/post will be (re)moved.
If you break rule(s) 2, the consequence is (in normal cases) simply a warning.
If you break rule(s) 3, your profile will be changed to follow the forum's rules. In addition, you will recieve a warning.
If you break rule(s) 4, the consequence depends on the level of infraction.
If you break rule(s) 5, the consequence depends on the level of infraction.
If you break rule(s) 6, the consequence depends on the level of infraction.
The rules are withheld liberally - which means that all reactions depend on the person involved and/or the moderators mood. Minor offenses might not count as infractions. You will get as many as three warnings in total; if you break any rule(s) after the three warnings have been given, you will be banished from Appunity.
The banished account will have no access to the boards at all. However, you will have access to a board set aside for banishment complaints. If you wish to keep up-to-date on what's happening, clicking Log out will give you access to view the boards. Please refrain from making other users, as this will lead to prolonging of the banishment.
